Early Childhood Intervention Programs
I'm For Kids Team
In Alberta, all children who are 4 by February 28th can be screened and qualify for funding that allows them to benefit from early intervention to help address delays in development of school readiness skills (communicating & socializing, moving & participating, being independent in groups). Funding exists for kids with both mild / moderate delays, and different funding exists for more pronounced needs.

This year we extremely thrilled to be partnering with the I'm For Kids Team! The I'm For Kids is a complete team of professionals to provide programming strategies in a play-based and community-based preschool program. All programming decisions are made in the best interest of your child and parental input is valued while focusing on BEST Early Childhood Education (ECE) practices.
Programming is provided to children between 2 years & 8 months - 5 years & 8 months of age which may include Program Unit Funding (PUF), Mild/ Moderate Funding (M/M), English as a Second Language (ESL), and Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD)

Coach Tracy with Luna P.L.A.Y Kids
This year we’re collaborating with coach Tracy of Luna P.L.A.Y Kids to bring you classes that will run immediately following or before your child’s class. This will allow you some extra time and is a great way for your child to have some fun with their peers!
Classes will be exclusive to our playschool students run by Coach Tracy. She will accompany your child either from their class that has just finished or back up to the classroom in time for class to begin. They will have time for a brief snack and about 45 minutes of activity.
They will have Coach Tracy with them the entire time, should they need help with anything!
This year, on Mondays for the 4-year-olds, Sports-Nastix will be offered. Half of the session will be a multi-sport class (volleyball, football, soccer, basketball etc) in the Main Hall & half the session will be gymnastics in the MPP hall.
On Thursdays, the 3-year-olds will be offered a multi-sport class! Kids will be introduced to the fundamentals of several different sports such as volleyball, football, soccer, basketball & baseball. As well as fun games!
Classes start in late September/early October.
