All children in our Playschool must be 3 years of age, and FULLY potty trained prior to starting classes. A child who has not turned 3 at the start of the school year but will turn 3 prior to December 31 may pay to hold a spot. There will be no admissions past December 31 of a given school year.
Tuition and Fees
$125.00/MONTH (3 Year Old Program/ 3/4 Year Old Program - 2 days/week)
$170.00/MONTH (4 Year Old Program/ 4 Year Old Program- 3 days/week)
$75.00/ANNUAL (Registration and Fundraising Fee)
$500.00/ANNUAL (Volunteer Bond - not cashed if volunteer hours are fulfilled on or before the end of the current school year. Each child enrolled in a 2 day program requires 10 volunteer hours to be completed, and each child enrolled in a 3 day program requires 15 volunteer hours to be completed)
There will be a $50.00 administration charge for each NSF cheque.
CRCA Community Memberships
A current Community Membership is a requirement to be registered in our program. 2019/2020 memberships are available for purchase as of June 1, 2019. Memberships are valid from July 1st to June 30th and can be purchased either in person at the Rec Centre's main office or online at www.chestermerecrca.com. Online registration requires a login/password which can be obtained by calling the office at 403-272-7170 ext. 221 or submitting an email to email@example.com
Please have your required membership number on or before the first day of classes. The CRCA Confirmation Form must be completed and returned by October 1 in order to maintain your child’s place in the classroom. Failure to submit a complete form will result in suspension from the classroom until such time as membership verification is received.
Subsidy - Alberta Government Child Care Subsidy Program
The Chestermere Community Playschool is registered to accept the Alberta Government subsidy. This subsidy program is designed to help eligible low and middle-income parents with the cost of tuition for preschool programs. If your child is registered in our school, you may apply for subsidy if you or your spouse/partner:
Stay at home full time
Work less than 20 hours per week
Stay at home and volunteer less than 20 hours per week
Stay at home and go to school less than 20 hours per week
Qualified applicants may receive up to $1200 per year for each preschool aged child who attends our playschool.
