Being a kid is about having FUN!

Play is key to every child's learning, growth and development

At the Chestermere Community Playschool, the social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional development of children is supported through teaching that is play-based but also curriculum guided.
What does that look like in the average class? Well, we might read a story about dinosaurs, act like them in the gym, imagine and create our own dinosaur as a craft, and hunt for fossils in our sensory centre. So we play, and learn, at the same time!
Our community based, parent-run, not-for-profit playschool will help your child (ages 3-5) explore new worlds as they transition from home to Kindergarten.

Wishing you a happy holiday season and all the best in the New Year!

Classes resume January 7th
