10 hours of volunteer time are required per child in the playschool. These hours need to be completed by May 31 in order to receive your volunteer bond cheque back. |

How can I fill my volunteer hours? |
There are many different ways to complete the hours required. There are volunteer positions in the classroom and out. These positions are available to sign up for at the Annual General Meeting at the start of the school year. |

When can I register my child for playschool? |
Registration is held every February for the following school year beginning in September. We post ads in the Anchor and the Newsy Neighbor starting in January announcing the date. Registration packages may be picked up starting on a specified date and then returned completed on a different specified date. Spaces are given on a first come/first serve basis so it is good to get your package in as soon as possible. We do have waiting lists if someone misses the registration with registration packages available for pick up at the rec centre office. |

Do I need to get a Rec Centre Membership? |
A community membership is required to participate in any community run recreation, this includes the playschool. The memberships are purchased through the Rec Centre and are valid starting in July and ending in June of the following year. |
